The Wooten family is excited about their trip to Zagreb, Croatia.  We look forward to sharing our stories and experiences here on the website. The Zagreb Church of Christ was planted in December 1996 by 18 people from Amsterdam, Berlin, Boston, London, Munich and New York.  All of the mission team members were of Croatian nationality who became Christians outside of the country and decided to return to Croatia to spread the good news.  Currently the church has about 80 members.  Here is the link to their website - http://www.zagrebicc.org/default.aspx?langid=1

A brief history of Croatia: After World War II, Croatia was a Socialist Republic part of a six-part Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia. Croatia was under a new communist system, privately owned factories and estates, and the economy was based on a type of planned market socialism. Then in the early 90’s Croatia was involved in a war to gain its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.

We fly out on Sunday June 14th, so be praying for our travels.
