HOPE WorldWide Mentoring opportunities available this summer: Several of our students from the HOPE WorldWide Saturday Academy are interested in having a mentor for at least the summer months and perhaps into the next school year.  These are outstanding students who live in a high risk environment but have a great desire to drive to succeed in life.  You can be a part of that by just giving an hour a week to one of these students.  Male and female elementary and middle school students are available.  Time is well spent by just doing what you do and incorporating someone in your life, take them shopping, teaching good eating habits, attending a museum, concert, sports event, go to the pool, etc.

Lap Robes projects take place every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9 am to noon.  Donations are needed for everything from storage bins for fabric to garment bags for the quilts themselves.  Please contact Carol Jennings for more information regarding donations and participation.

The food pantry is getting low on supplies and donations are needed.  Please bring all donations to the women center next door to Guy’s office.  Thank you for your generousity !!
