Our Board
Board of Directors
All not-for-profit corporations are required to have a board of directors to oversee its financial affairs. Our bylaws require that the members of the Board be in good standing who have been recognized as an elder, deacon, or members who are recognized by the elders or evangelist(s) as having exhibited gifts necessary to serve the church, are qualified to serve as a Director. These Directors have responded to the teachings of the Bible, have been baptized into Christ, participate in the body of Christ (church), are connected with other members in significant relationships, support the church as they are financially able and are recognized as members by the elders and ministers of the Jacksonville Church of Christ.
The elders and evangelist(s) of the church are extremely grateful for the service the board provides.
The following men serve on our Board of Directors.
Dr. Randy Henderson
Randy became a Christian in 1988 and is an elder serving the Jacksonville Church of Christ. He has been married to his wife, Jean, for 35 years and has two children, Carl and Nathan.
George Kawaley
Ken Perry
Ken has been a servant in many capacities since becoming a Christian in 1988. He and his wife, Soo, have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of one son, Drew Perry. Ken also serves as a Deacon to the church.
Doug Pullen
Doug has been a servant in many ways since becoming a Christian in 1978. He is married to his wife, Judy, for 30 years. They have five grown children: James, Lindsay, Stephen, Mark and Joshua. Doug also serves as an elder to the Jacksonville Church of Christ.
